Public-Private Partnership Analysis Of The Provision And Promotion Of Health Services-A Critical Review

Abstract:

Background   Public-Private Partnership Is A Successful And New Way That Can Help Developing Countries To Achieve Their Goals, And Provide Healthcare Resources To Prevent Disease, Provide Effective Health Care, And Promote The Health Of Individuals And Communities.   Methods This Critical Review, The Systematic Search Method Was Used. For This Purpose, Firstly English Articles Were Searched In The Period 2000-2017 In ISI, Scopus, PubMed And Science Direct Databases Using Public-Private Partnership And Health Promotion Or Health Delivery Or Health Improvement Or Health Service, And Then In Sid And Magiran, The Search Was Continued With The Keyword "Public-Private Partnership".   Results After Analyzing The Articles, Four Main Themes: Public-Private Partnership And Prevention, Public-Private Partnerships And Infectious And Contagious Diseases, Public-Private Partnerships And Chronic Diseases, And Public-Private Partnerships, And Health And Clinical Services Were Designed.  And Existing Experiences Were Broken Down Into These Four Themes. In The First Issue, Most Of The Vaccine And Screening Interventions, The Second Theme For Tuberculosis And AIDS, The Third Theme For Hemodialysis, And The Fourth Theme For Delivery Were Discussed.   Conclusion Successful Experiences Have Come From Engaging Private Sector Resources To Provide Better Services And Increase Individual And Community Health. Where Public-Private Partnerships Are Supported And Organized By The Government, They Will Be More Successful. In Most Articles, The Extent Of Private Sector Participation And Its Benefits Were Vague. More Clarity In The Interactions Between These Two Sectors Will Increase The Confidence Of Policymakers In Public-Private Partnerships.
